Self Portrait: Passion, Pain & Desire

This is a series of photos reflecting part of my internal world. A peek behind the veil. I'm at my best when I express myself through my body, movement, through embodiment, in front of the camera.

The handcuffs show how I retrain myself, hold myself back. The fire is the flame of desire that is constantly burning, a little light among the darkness. The sword is the weapon used to kill a certain part of me. The mirror reflects the wounds & scars hidden.

I want to do more of these & have some ideas brewing. I've been sitting on posting for awhile just cause of procrastination😭
