Just when you think you've seen it all with street dogs and their recoveries, along comes little Birdy. What she has achieved in the last few days still leaves me absolutely speechless. She was in huge trouble with her health after she had her little fall 10 days ago and if I'm brutally honest there are many times where I thought it was the end of the road. The amazing thing is that as soon as she was able to start walking again, the first thing she did was run back towards her retirement village. She's done that several times since. All she wants to do is see her friends and get home, just like any of us would if we were in hospital at an elderly age like she is. I couldn’t be more proud of the people at @wearehappydoggo for making this happen and for her having such a safe place there. Absolutely unbelievable scenes ❤️
