Prodigy’s music taste went far beyond the gritty Queensbridge sound that made him a hip-hop legend 🙏 Born into a musical family, the late Mobb Deep rapper grew up surrounded by everything from jazz and soul to reggae and rock. His mother was a member of The Crystals, while his grandfather was a Jazz Hall of Famer, influences that occasionally found their way into Mobb Deep’s music. In honor of what would have been his 52nd birthday, we’re revisiting Prodigy’s 2012 interview with Complex, where he broke down his 25 favorite albums of all time. From Nas’ ‘Illmatic’ and Snoop Dogg’s ‘Doggystyle’ to Bob Marley, Marvin Gaye, Kanye West and Rihanna, his picks reveal the wide-ranging influences behind one of rap’s most distinctive voices. Governments Are Saying Get Ready. Here's Why Britain says three days. Norway says a week. Germany says ten. Ireland and Poland posted booklets to every home, and the Pentagon wants its biggest bases able to run on their own for ninety days. We read every list so you don't have to: why governments say they're asking, the six pressures behind it, the list they all agree on, and the one item almost nobody thinks about. What would your home run out of first? Tell us in the comments. 🩸👑 Who knew being friends with the wrong doll could lead to such legendary things? 🔪❤️ 50 years of Carrie, and a whole new generation is bringing her story to life. The coolest part? Somewhere in that story is a little connection to my own horror journey… friends till the end. 🖤 I think that’s what I love most about acting. You never really know where one story might lead, who you’ll inspire, or what incredible things are still waiting around the corner. Some stories become legends. Others are still being written. And I think that’s the most exciting part. ✨ Happy Halloween! 🎃🩸 #Carrie #prom #StephenKing #Halloween2026 #HorrorMovies
