If you haven't been to @bigslickatx in Austin yet then you are missing out! Chef @phillipfranklandlee has created a dining experience that is like no other in the city. The restaurant is only 22 seats and is a full 2.5 hour dining experience. We truly enjoyed all the food we had but the main highlights were the burrata, tagliatelle pasta with lobster and the Big Slick which is a 40oz tomahawk ribeye. All the meat is dry aged and imported from farm butcher Lobels out in New York. This place out there has been around for 180 years so you know they are doing something right.
The aesthetic of the restaurant was beautiful. All of the paintings were done with charcoal by the talented @ansongordonart which we recommend you taking a second to enjoy when you are there. 10/10 experience and worth going for a special occassion.
