All my life, I’ve been so used to just moving through chapters. Never have I taken time to go back, and ask the inner kid version of myself what he was so hurt by. This trip back to Cali, so far, has been the exploration for me! 🫶🏾

It’s weird being here knowing there are friends I would usually hit up to see who are no longer here. It’s heavy knowing one year ago, I would’ve been with them instead of experiencing this day, and more to come, with ones I have the privilege of spending time with right now. And it’s the heaviest knowing I didn’t even get the chance to see them or say goodbye because of the distance since I moved.

I write and post this to say find the things you truly enjoy to do and try to make even a little time for them!

As silly as it sounds, it heals you. It motivates you! Even when it seems impossible I promise you’ll get through it and be glad you saw it through!
