Presented by @Rolex. Fewer than 400 bearded vultures remain in South Africa and Lesotho. National Geographic Explorer Shannon Hoffman has spent over a decade trying to change their fate. By collecting eggs from remote mountain nests and raising chicks through a specialized breeding program, she hopes to raise a new generation that can eventually return to the wild.

Through its partnership with the National Geographic Society and as part of its Perpetual Planet Initiative, #Rolex supports expeditions exploring and protecting remarkable places around the world, a selection of which are featured in #AfricaEarthsWildHome. #PerpetualPlanet

Rashmika and Vijay Devarakonda share their side of the story on the recent controversy 👀
