Hot Wheels used to have detailed metal bases, and McDonald's used to feel like an actual playground. Now the cars feel cheaper, the restaurants look like offices, and everything that made being a kid fun is slowly disappearing. 💀

I’ve always treated my birthday as my own private New Year. A time to reflect, learn, unlearn, grow and step into another year with the same ambitions and new goals.

Alhamdulillah this year has been incredibly rewarding, both personally and professionally. I’ve been blessed with work I love, opportunities I’m grateful for and milestones that remind me how fortunate I am to be living a dream I once only hoped for. To everyone who has believed in me, worked with me, celebrated me and stood by me, thank you. And to my friends and family, who fill my life with love, laughter and a sense of belonging, you are among my greatest blessings.

This year has taught me that the truest measure of success is a heart at peace and a mind that knows how to be quiet and actually looking forward to waking up every day and living it to the fullest. I’ve come to know myself a little better, appreciate what I have, make peace with what isn’t mine to hold and find joy in the life unfolding before me. There is so much good in this world and I want to spend more time noticing it, celebrating it and being grateful for it.

I step into this new year with a heart full of gratitude, more love to give, the same fire in my belly and an excitement for what lies ahead.

I think I’m experiencing the exact opposite of a midlife crisis. A midlife clarity maybe? 😂 Turns out growing older might just mean growing into yourself.
