Boo. 👻 ‘CASPER’ (1995) film poster painted from scratch by Plakiat Maks Bereski @plakiat 🛷 Zoom ☛ Plakiat.com/poster/417 ☚ ‘Casper’ is a deeply special and melancholy film for me, something James Horner’s score captures beautifully, especially in the scenes with Christina Ricci. Its remarkable visual effects by Industrial Light & Magic and warm, family-friendly tone make it a true comfort movie. Whenever you’re feeling down and experiencing that strange dissonance with the world around you, remember that there are still these analogue films from the 90s. Little ghosts from another time, carrying something tangible and human that still speaks to us. Your friendly poster maker - Maks. / Executive Producer: Steven Spielberg / “Can I Keep You?”
Special notes: 1) Casper’s pupils on the poster are my own pupils. 2) Full digital painting - no artificial stuff here. 3) In Polish dubbing, Casper was voiced by spectacular Edyta Jungowska. 4) Plakiat’s ‘Childhood Memories’ subseries. 5) Poster number 417
