Introducing SATISFY’s first-ever down-insulated gear: the Rippy™ Force Down Program, a high-tenacity Japanese sail fabric holding ALLIED® Feather & Down RDS-certified 850 fill-power grey goose. The Puffer Jacket and Sleeping Bag went into the deep cold of the Colorado Rockies with Adam, Bo and Jack; three friends who make ritual rides to far-flung trails and ultra-distance races on custom Panheads. Along their trips, mountain passes and vintage machines set the pace, and progress takes patience. When an engine falters, they repair it on the blacktop, sometimes calling local shops for rare parts. This run-and-ride climbed from Boulder over Guanella Pass to Breckenridge. Off the choppers, they ran Quartz Valley, Silver Dollar Lake and Square Top Mountain at 13,800 feet, then cowboy camped on frosted fields at Central City and Fairplay. Lashed behind them, a roll of wrenches. Wrapped around them, Rippy Force™. The drop and film land tomorrow. Stay tuned.
🇮🇳🇨🇳 | Fresh diplomatic tensions have emerged between India and China after Beijing strongly objected to New Delhi's decision to officially standardise the names of 28 strategic locations and geographical features in Ladakh. On October 2, 2026, India's Ministry of Home Affairs announced standardised names for 28 locations, including mountain peaks, glaciers, valleys, passes and other geographical features. The list also includes Gogra and Hot Springs, two sensitive areas along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) that were at the centre of the 2020 military standoff between the two countries. China responded on October 13, calling India's decision illegal and invalid. Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning stated that Beijing does not recognise the Union Territory of Ladakh, which India established in 2019, and reiterated China's territorial claims in the western sector of the disputed boundary. India, however, firmly rejected Beijing's objections. Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal reaffirmed that Ladakh is an integral and inalienable part of India, stressing that China's denial cannot change India's position on the territory. According to reports by The Indian Express, the Indian government clarified that the naming exercise was carried out in consultation with the Ladakh administration and local stakeholders to ensure accurate identification of geographical features on official Survey of India maps and improve public awareness. The development comes against the backdrop of the long-standing India-China border dispute, which escalated significantly following the deadly Galwan Valley clash in 2020. Although both nations have since undertaken military disengagement efforts and diplomatic discussions, disagreements over territorial claims and the LAC remain unresolved. The latest exchange highlights how even the naming of geographical locations can become a sensitive diplomatic issue between two neighbouring powers with competing territorial claims. 🗞️ Sources: The Indian Express; Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Official Press Briefing, October 13, 2026).
