🙌🏽💛 Baile, improvisación, y expresión creativa son los ingredientes dentro de nuestro “sofrito” — el sazón de la vida. Era una gran placer terminar el verano y empezar el mes de herencia hispana con mis compadres en la comunidad con @gemsgale y @ctld_lab — recuerdo bien practicando con mi padre, y me lleno de orgullo, conectando con Gemma con unos seis años en este espacio de arte, salud y conexión.

🙌🏽💛 Dance, improvisation, and creative expression are the ingredients to our “sofrito” — the season of life. It was a great pleasure ending the summer and beginning Hispanic Heritage Month with my compatriots in community with Prof. Gemma Moya-Galé and the Communication, Technology, and Language Diversity Lab for Neurodegenerative Disease at Teachers College.

It feels like a full circle moment, remembering when my dad and I used to join Gemma and her students playing and warming up our voices back during the pandemic. Building this community of like-minded scientists and artists is divine.
