Somewhere out there, someone is getting paid to write these signs. Most public notices are designed to blend into the background. These do the exact opposite. One bridge has a strangely specific limit on how many Americans it can handle, while another turns a warning about unattended children into a joke that parents probably wonโ€™t forget. Thereโ€™s something hilarious about finding this kind of personality in the most ordinary places. A simple instruction suddenly becomes a punchline, and a sign that should take two seconds to read ends up being the highlight of someoneโ€™s day. It turns out that a little sarcasm, some unexpected honesty, and absolutely no filter can make even the most boring corner of the world worth photographing. ๐Ÿชง Follow @Pickuplines for more content like this. #FunnySigns #UnexpectedHumor #TravelFinds #EverydayComedy #PublicSigns

three months ago, I was in an accident that turned my world upside down. literally. the uber I was in rolled over on the expressway and in that moment, I thought I was going to die. although i walked away with minimal physical injuries, the mental battle was just beginning. I didnโ€™t trust my body anymore and I moved through life with fear. so I didnโ€™t run for five weeks, which isnโ€™t exactly ideal in the middle of a marathon training cycle. I started questioning whether I should even run this marathon. maybe i should just defer it again but I tried my best to give myself grace, take things one day at a time and slowly build my mileage back up. I also shifted my focus from chasing a time goal to making my 10th marathon a celebration of life. but the marathon will always remind you to respect the distance. I started off feeling strong, but as the pain kicked in, so did the flashbacks and self-doubt. My mind went back to the moment in the last slide. I decided to focus on making it to the cheer stations and drawing energy from the people I saw along the course. I kept reminding myself that even though iโ€™m still not 100% after the accident, I am strong, capable and safe. I fought hard to get to that finish line and tried my best to keep smiling all the way there. thank you to everyone who showed me so much love and support throughout this incredibly hard summer and on race day. especially my @bandit @run @chingonasrunchicago_ @ethostrainingchi and gatos fam. yโ€™all got me to that finish line and iโ€™ll never forget it. now, itโ€™s time to rest. maybe for a long time. ๐Ÿ’• ๐Ÿ“ธ 1-3 & 11: @manuelvfoto 4: @thisisdizzle / @3run2 5: @kindafitpatrick 6-8: @sarahtruittphotography 9: @jenna_franz 10: @cahillc2 12: Reddit user dashcam footage
Are you a morning person, yes or no?? Sometimes I want to pour an iced coffee over my husbandโ€™s head when he comes at me with his Jim Carrey energy immediately upon waking. But mornings like this, Iโ€™m grateful for his energy๐Ÿ’› He said he had the song playing in the kitchen and started dancing crazy to see how the girls would react when they came down โ€ฆ and that they laughed hysterically and joined in. Love that my mom also heard the commotion and joined in hahah. Unfortunately I take a good hour or two to fully function in the morning. I have a theory that it might be because I dream deeply every single night, and it takes my brain awhile to wake up from the action ๐Ÿ˜‚ who knows. Happy Thursday everybody xx @fitzandthetantrums
