Katika’s story is a wonderful example of what can happen when learning, leadership, entrepreneurship, and community come together. Her journey with Quad County Urban League has included serving as an Economic Empowerment Center instructor and participating in our Women’s Empowerment Summit and now, we have the privilege of celebrating her as a business owner at the ribbon cutting for Taxes Made Better!

From sharing her knowledge with others to continuing to grow professionally Katika continues to demonstrate the power of investing in yourself, pursuing your goals, and creating opportunities.
