A Legacy of Impact. An Evening to Remember. Saturday night, the Quad County Urban League brought our community together for our 2026 Annual Gala: Legacy of Impact! From honoring outstanding leaders to enjoying an unforgettable performance by Shalamar, the evening celebrated the people, partnerships, and purpose behind our mission. Thank you to our sponsors, donors, honorees, volunteers, and guests for making the evening special and investing in QCUL’s continued impact across our communities. The celebration may be over, but the mission continues! #QCUL #LegacyOfImpact #QuadCountyUrbanLeague #ChangingLives by @katrinaempowers
Your voice matters. Your vote matters. And the choices made at the ballot box can impact your everyday life. If early voting is available in your state, there’s no need to wait until Election Day. Make your plan, cast your ballot early, and remind your family, friends, and neighbors to do the same. Need voting information or helpful resources? Visit reclaimyourvote.org and make sure you’re ready to participate. #ReclaimYourVote #YourVoiceYourVote #VoteEarly #ElectionDay by @katrinaempowers

TODAY IS THE LAST DAY TO GIVE ONLINE! The Mission Raise is in its final online push, and we’re not done yet. Our goal is $75,000 by the end of the Gala, and every gift helps move us closer. Check the thermometer. See where we stand. Then help us push it higher. Give today. Share the mission. Bring someone into the movement. Online giving ends tonight at www.qcul.org/mission-raise. But the Mission Raise doesn’t stop there. TOMORROW, we take it LIVE at the QCUL Annual Gala with our Paddle Raise. We’ll keep the momentum going and work together to reach our $75,000 goal. One mission. One goal. One more big push. Let’s finish strong! #QCUL #MissionRaise #LegacyOfImpact #75KForQCUL by @katrinaempowers

Congratulations, Katika Neal & @taxesmadebetter! Katika Neal, founder of Taxes Made Better, we couldn’t be more proud to celebrate your journey! Katika’s story is a wonderful example of what can happen when learning, leadership, entrepreneurship, and community come together. Her journey with Quad County Urban League has included serving as an Economic Empowerment Center instructor and participating in our Women’s Empowerment Summit and now, we have the privilege of celebrating her as a business owner at the ribbon cutting for Taxes Made Better! From sharing her knowledge with others to continuing to grow professionally Katika continues to demonstrate the power of investing in yourself, pursuing your goals, and creating opportunities. At QCUL, we are proud to be part of journeys like Katika’s and to witness the incredible things that happen when community members are equipped with resources, connections, and opportunities to thrive.
