Red Circle Bench (RCB) by @nickvision

Popps Packing, Carpenter Park
2014 McPherson Street, Detroit
---------------------------------------
The conversation started in early spring when we approached Nick about creating a sculptural bench for the park, inspired by his ongoing "Red Circle" series seen on buildings and structures throughout Detroit.

At Popps, we’ve known Nick for more than 15 years and have always admired his thoughtfulness and approach to making art in the city. Luckily for us, Nick said yes.

We couldn’t be more excited to have "RCB" as the first permanent sculptural component of Carpenter Park.

Join us this Sunday, September 27, from 1PM–4 PM for a sitting party and informal opening of the piece.

Location: Carpenter Park,
2014 McPherson Street, Detroit

Come sit, hang out, and celebrate the newest addition to the park.
