Drama: Mr Queen
Mr. Queen is a 2020-2021 South Korean historic fantasy romantic comedy K-drama based on the Chinese web series_Go Princess Go_. It aired 20 episodes on tvN from December 12, 2020 to February 14, 2021, and streams on Netflix, Viki, and WeTV. In the present day, Jang Bong-hwan is a free-spirited chef at the Blue House who mysteriously wakes up in the Joseon era in the body of Queen Kim So-yong. Trapped with a modern man's soul, the queen causes chaos in the palace with her 21st-century behavior and slang. King Cheoljong appears to be a gentle, powerless figurehead under Queen Sunwon and the Andong Kim clan, but he secretly hides his strength and plans to reclaim the throne and help his people.

The series stars Shin Hye-sun as Queen Cheorin/Kim So-yong and Kim Jung-hyun as King Cheoljong, with standout chemistry that shifts from bickering to romance. It blends body-swap comedy, palace politics, and melodrama, with side plots about corruption, loyal courtiers, and forbidden love. The final episode reached 17.371% nationwide ratings, making it the 5th highest-rated tvN drama and 11th highest in Korean cable history. Despite controversies over historical portrayal, it was praised for Shin Hye-sun's performance, the OST, and its mix of laughs and emotional twists.
