Tamlins heart stopped being stop - Feyre mentions hearing it beating after the curse is lifted. That being said we DONT know if Lucien also got cursed with a stone heart. It’s also possible Elain was hearing Lucien’s heart through the mating bond.

There's also the theory that she's hearing through the stone of the prison. Can't say too much without spoilers.

His heart stopped being stone the moment the curse was broken in book 1. Plus Amren can smell mating bonds, he’d smell be able to smell if it were tamlin too. Plus the office exploder tampon isn’t infiltrating anything successfully.
