🎹 Back to my piano 🎵

While I am trying to be artsy for my insta community…, I am still creating and taking those long roads that books and movies allow me to take.

You’ll maybe think my metaphor is cheesy but anyway some times cheesy is good.😂

You can take the elevator alone or with your neighbor with the urge to get out of it as quickly as possible but taking the stairs is quite fascinating.

First, as you walk down the stairs, you start smelling pasta bolognese from these young roommates appartement on the third 3rd floor shouting along to« Take On Me » without hitting a single note right, which makes you smile. Then you hear that TV from the 2nd floor really loud, as if it’s been on for ages and you wonder if they still can hear anything when they go to bed. After a few steps, you see that old lady from the 1st floor. You once helped her with some little thing, and you realize how bodies get thinner and more fragile with time. So you get scared and call your grandma because you realize you never know how much longer she’ll still be there…
And of course many times, you’ll just walk down and nothing will happen and you’ll take the elevator and be quicker at home (and it’s obviously OK to do so.)
But just try from time to time to take the steps, because «Experience is based on the stimulus of the senses.» Experience is feeling.

Some people want A.I. to fasten the process of creating music but it will never make us, creative brain, experience. Taking the elevator alone will never be the same as climbing the stairs. It’s just a different path !

And you what’s the thing you like do that sounds like a detour ? 😊

Some things can wait.
Your health can’t.

Taking care of yourself isn’t only about what happens when something goes wrong.
It’s about listening to your body, your mind, and making the right choices for your health, every day.

That’s why I’m proud to partner with @avec_alan : prevention insurance that helps you take care of your health before you need care, and supports you when you do.

In sickness and in health.

Health Can’t Wait.

Went crazy with this one 😜

You know that thing you haven’t used in 3 years… but you still can’t get rid of because “you might need it one day”? 😂

Yep. That.

I’ve lost count of how many things I’ve kept “just in case”… only to realise I haven’t actually needed them for years. 🙈

So I’m trying to challenge that little voice in my head and ask:

Have I used this?
Will I realistically use it?
Or am I keeping it purely because I’m scared I might need it someday?

Because sometimes “just in case” isn’t being prepared… it’s just clutter with a really convincing excuse. 😂

Swipe through for some of the things I’m learning to let go of.

Now tell me… what’s the ONE thing in your home you’re keeping “just in case”? 😂👇 I guarantee someone else has the exact same thing!

And SAVE this for the next time you’re standing there thinking, “Hmm… I might need this one day…” 🫠
