Here’s why it’s cool to see them in 2026. Otis Williams, who was one of the founders of The Temptations, is still performing with the group. At one point during the show, he announced, “I’m 84, and I feel good!” The audience went crazy.
Williams wrote a memoir about the band that was later the inspiration for the Broadway musical Ain’t Too Proud. Speaking of the Broadway show, Jawan M Jackson, who starred in the original cast of Ain’t Too Proud is now an actual Temptation. I love that!
