Book Lover!

My review:
The Inner Circle by Lukas Gaines
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶️🌶️🌶️

I was so excited to read this book after reading FIRE on Fire, which is the first book in this universe. The book is about Marcus, who is hired to work his way into the inner circle of a tech billionaire who has a private island where he has men complete tests to earn ‘their heart’s desire’. Marcus wants to crack this story wide open, until he meets Jake, another tech guy, hoping to complete his tests to help grow his company.
The two MMCs were well developed and I’m really looking forward to the next book about their journey.
Marcus is the grumpy and Jake is the sunshine in this story. I loved how open and honest Jake was about what he wanted and what he expected with Marcus.
If you like banter, spice, a villain worthy of your angst, and a complex, unique love story, this book is for you.
I’m looking forward to reading everything Lukas Gaines writes!
