🏀 Britton Thomas — TAD Prep

Britton Thomas

* Class: 2027
* Position: Wing / PG-SF
* Size: Listed around 6’5” by Prep Hoops and TAD Prep; some older databases list him shorter.
* Previous school: Lawrence North — Indianapolis, Indiana
* TAD Prep: 2026-27
* Jersey: #22 at Lawrence North

What caught my attention is that he’s not just a spot-up shooter.

The TAD Prep profile specifically describes him as a player with a lot of bounce, good rebounding ability, someone who attacks closeouts and can finish above the rim, while also shooting the three well. That’s a pretty valuable combination for a prep team.

🔥 What he showed at Lawrence North

I found a really good piece of evidence from Prep Hoops Indiana from December 2025.

Lawrence North was playing Lawrence Central in a highly competitive game between two teams ranked in Indiana’s Class 4A Top 10. Thomas hit a three early, and ultimately finished with 13 points, while knocking down multiple threes during the game. The report specifically noted that Thomas, Duke Karnes and Davis Baker combined for nine 3-pointers.

Even more interesting: another scouting source lists him as a PG/SF, which suggests he’s not being viewed strictly as a traditional power forward.

👀 Why I think he could be important for TAD

This is where I think your observation about him being one of TAD’s better players makes sense.

TAD already has several interesting pieces:

Amir Bryant — 6’5” wing
Britton Thomas — 6’5” wing
Daaron Thompkins — 6’6” forward
Brosnen Gilmore — 6’2” guard
Cheick Wade — 6’0” guard
Brock Gramling — 6’6” forward
