Activists speak up for ducks at an intense protest against @kamonegiseattle ! A letter and emails have been sent to Kamonegi restaurant, urging them to reconsider their support of ducks being force fed and providing undercover footage from foie gras farms. The emails went unanswered, so protestors showed up to make sure their urgent message couldn't be ignored! Some customers were angry and unhinged toward the protestors, and employees and neighbors attempted to deter them, but they refused to back down, and will continue to refuse, until Kamonegi's owner Soma makes the reasonable and compassionate decision to permanently stop selling foie gras. One couple mentioned to the activists that they were about to dine there, until they found out that they sell foie gras, and decided to boycott the restaurant instead.

Një ngjarje sa e pazakontë aq edhe absurde është regjistruar në zonën e ish-Bllokut në Tiranë, ku forcat e policisë kanë rrethuar dhe ndaluar një të ri, i cili rezultoi të jetë personazhi i përplasjeve dhe provokimeve gjatë protestave. I riu, i identifikuar si Luiz Sheta, humbi ndjenjat në momentin kur u rrethua nga forcat e policisë, të cilët i kërkuan të identifikohej dhe të hiqte maskën. Pasi ra në tokë se nuk u ndje mirë, ishin vetë policët që i dhanë ndihmën e parë për ta përmendur. Nën presionin e efektivëve, ai përpiqej të justifikohej duke u thënë: “Nuk jam pjesë e protestës”. Mirëpo, verifikimet dhe pamjet e publikuara zbulojnë një tjetër realitet. Luiz Sheta ishte përfshirë në një përplasje më serioze përpara Kuvendit 8 ditë më parë, gjatë një proteste paqësore, ku u konfrontua fizikisht me një burrë të moshuar pasi dyshohej se po provokonte turmën. Menjëherë pas atij incidenti, ai pati dalë në rrjetet sociale me një video kërcënuese dhe me gjuhë mjaft përçmuese ndaj protestuesve: “Dua të them ju protestuesa jeni për t'u varur. Ai plaku që erdhi më ra me shpullë nuk e ka jetën e gjatë, pasi i janë vënë prapa njerëzit. Një nga një, të gjithëve”, deklaronte ai në rrjetet sociale, ndërsa pretendonte se "me protestues të tillë nuk shkohet në Evropë". Pas këtyre deklaratave dhe incidenteve, në rrjetet sociale shpërthyen aludimet dhe dyshimet se ai mund të ishte një civil i infiltruar me qëllim tensionimin e situatës apo neutralizimin e protestuesve. Së fundmi, lokalizimi dhe ndalimi i tij në ish-Bllok ka ngritur pikëpyetje të mëdha: a bëhet fjalë për një ndalim rastësor ku policia e mori si protestues të zakonshëm dhe "kapi padashje spiunin e saj", apo forcat e rendit kishin informacion paraprak për ta shoqëruar pas kërcënimeve publike që ai bëri? Ngjarja mbetet një nga momentet më kontradiktore dhe më të komentuara të ditëve të fundit.
