CarGurus should allow shoppers to leave a vehicle condition report after test driving a car, even if they don’t purchase it. This could save other shoppers a lot of time and frustration. For example, if someone test drives a vehicle and notices it was smoked in, has dents, scratches, stains, unusual odors, warning lights, or other issues that aren’t obvious from the listing, they could report it and even upload photos. CarGurus could label these as “Shopper-Reported Condition” reports. This would help future buyers know what they’re actually walking into before driving an hour to see a vehicle. It would also encourage dealerships to keep their listings accurate and disclose the vehicle’s condition honestly. Great feature for CarGurus to consider!
