Confidence level: tried-on-bikini-in-front-of-giant-window 😅☀️ Honestly, I never thought I'd post something like this, but here we are (blame the summer vibes and a boost of silliness)! Someone please tell me I'm not the only one who feels super awkward in swimwear unless there are sneakers involved? 😂 Not sure if I’m more ready for the pool or for a jog, but at least my smile is real! Sometimes you just gotta laugh at yourself and embrace every little insecurity. And yes, I am sitting on a box because apparently chairs are too mainstream today! 😜🌸

Yella Beezy’s artist and longtime friend Jose Bodega agreed to testify for the government, at Mo3 mu*der trial, in exchange for having his case dismissed 😳

These craftspeople turn timber into traditional Chinese architecture through careful planning, precise joinery, and intricate carving. From full-size layout drawings to the shaping of massive beams, the work combines structural knowledge with details that make each building distinctive.

At the heart of this tradition is mortise-and-tenon joinery. A projecting part of one wooden component fits into a matching opening in another, connecting the pieces into a load-bearing frame. Layered bracket sets, known as dougong, help transfer the roof’s weight toward the columns. Their elaborate appearance is not simply decoration. It is part of the building’s structure. These connections can also give the frame flexibility, contributing to its resistance to earthquake forces.

The tradition stretches back more than 2,000 years, with major timber-frame systems already developed during the Han dynasty. By 1103, the Song-dynasty building manual Yingzao Fashi documented detailed construction standards. Passed from masters to apprentices through practical instruction, this knowledge continues in traditional-style construction and restoration today. UNESCO recognized Chinese traditional architectural craftsmanship for timber-framed structures as intangible cultural heritage in 2009.
