Prime Minister @narendramodi great to see you in New Delhi today. Congratulations on 25 years in public service, a remarkable achievement. It was a pleasure to work with you when I was Prime Minister. Your commitment, your work ethic, your energy is an example to us all.

The UK India relationship is going from strength to strength under your leadership. Our two countries cooperating more on trade, tech and AI is vital in a less predictable world. I know that Britain and India will continue to grow ever closer in the years ahead 🇬🇧🇮🇳

An Andhra Pradesh-cadre IAS officer, Vikas Marmat, has been booked by Bengaluru police following an alleged altercation with police personnel at Cavore Bar and Restaurant on Residency Road.

According to the police complaint, the incident occurred around 1:30 AM on October 10, 2026, when Bengaluru Central Crime Branch personnel were checking customers’ identity cards to verify their ages.

Marmat, who serves as Project Director of the Kuppam Area Development Authority (KADA), allegedly got into an argument with the police along with three others — Abhay Uday Singh, Nitish and Roshan. The complaint alleges that the group assaulted police personnel.

A case has been registered at Cubbon Park police station. The allegations are subject to investigation, and the accused have not been proven guilty.

it is sad that women have to bargain for the level of harassment we face. This is not the future I am fighting for. This isn’t the comedy I want to be apart of. We must be better. Now. Women are fucking human. You don’t get to forget that when it’s inconvenient.

23rd in the world!! 🌎 🌺

Happy with the result and the day I put together! As I said earlier this week, I had no real expectation other than to learn and enjoy the day so to come away ranked top 25 in the world is awesome!

Kona is truely a different beast. Conditions were brutal on course. I played it safe, kept a lid on my effort and was able to pace a consistent race. Now I’ve got the experience under my belt I’m keen to return to the island again to push and really see what I can do.

But for now I’m looking forward to heading home after a long season away, it’s been a good year but I know I still have a lot more to show. It’s early days and I’m excited for some big seasons ahead!
