LC appreciation post.
One of the coolest vehicles I've ever owned. Sad to see her go, but excited for someone else to have an opportunity to enjoy. I have an incredibly hard time letting cars go, they become part of my family and honestly a bit of identity gets tied to them as well. But at the end of the day they are all things and meant to be held with an open hand.
10/10 would recommend
* I bought this one literally mid cross country trip when moving to mass , I had just sold another land cruiser back on the west coast and figured what better vehicle for the real winters of new england. The day after I got it home (mid September) someone stopped me and said "you're not going to drive that in the winter are you!" I told them that was the plan , and why not. This is when I was introduced to the concept of salting the roads. I grew up in Canada we get plenty of snow, but we use sand for friction, NE throws copious amounts of table seasoning on the road ... Seems silly, and turns out that ish will rot the frame right out from under you rig. So .... About 6 weeks later I had to park my beautiful new off-roader for the winter 😂 and buy a crap box to take the abuse. Thank you friend for warning me, no thank you new england for only about 10k kilometers in 4 years.
