This replaced my iPhone.
Hear me out! The biggest friction point in documenting my BTS process isn’t setting up gear… it’s operating it while I work.
As much as my iPhone captures killer footage, the second I pick it up, I get pulled into consuming instead of creating.
The Insta360 X6 completely broke that habit. Instead of obsessing over camera angles or missing the shot, it captures the entire room at once.
Record now. Direct later in post.
And with zero prior 360 camera experience, the video editing workflow in Final Cut Pro was surprisingly seamless.
With a couple of autumn adventures on the way, I’m excited to push it further outside... because it’s an action camera after all.
Let’s see how far we can push this footage in post.
