📸: Dok. Indonesia’s Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has named five suspects in an alleged corruption case involving the procurement of goods and services funded by the Dana Siap Pakai (DSP) for disaster management at the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB). The announcement came on October 14, following a KPK sting operation at BNPB on October 13, during which 14 people were detained. The five suspects include three individuals linked to BNPB: Gabriel Purwaka Sigit, a subdivision head and Commitment-Making Official (PPK); Bima Setiawan and Richard Erlangga, both expert advisers to the BNPB chief. The other two suspects, Gery Prasetiawan and Syifa Nrika Ghifarian, are from the private sector. KPK has seized approximately Rp3.3 billion in cash, hundreds of grams of gold, and cryptocurrency assets as evidence in connection with the case. The exact value of the cryptocurrency is still being investigated. KPK Chairman Setyo Budiyanto said the alleged corruption may have been taking place since 2022. Investigators suspect conflicts of interest and bribery in procurement processes involving the Dana Siap Pakai, which is intended to fund urgent disaster response efforts. However, the total state financial losses have not yet been confirmed, and investigators are continuing to examine the details of the case. [Photo: Istimewa]

Seo Kang-joon and Ahn Eun-jin star as Namgung Ho and Lee Mi-do in KBS2's 2026 realistic romance melodrama *A Love Other Than Yours (Neo Malgo Dareun Yeonae)*. The 14-episode series premiered on September 12, 2026 and airs every Saturday and Sunday at 21:20 KST, and follows a couple who have been dating for 10 years as their familiar relationship starts to lose its spark. The show is written by Yoo Soo-ji, directed by Hwang Seung-gi and Lee Ga-ram, and is available on Amazon Prime Video with multiple language options. The plot centers on Namgung Ho, an office worker at Hunmin Confectionery, and Lee Mi-do, a struggling film director, who have known each other since they were seven. As they stand at the crossroads of marriage and breakup, new people enter their lives — legal advisor Han Tae-seung, played by Lee Joo-ahn, and Ho's junior Park Soo-ah, played by Jo Aram — testing whether they are still together out of love or just out of habit. Critics note the drama moves beyond a simple love triangle to ask what happens when comfort replaces excitement in long-term love. The drama has drawn attention for the chemistry of its leads, with Seo Kang-joon returning after military service and Ahn Eun-jin known for My Dearest. While its TV ratings stayed in the 1-2% range, its OTT buzz surged 195% with the story's bold turn where the couple agree to try "a different romance for one month" to find out if their hearts still move for each other. . . . #kdrama #aloveotherthanyours #relatable #seokangjoon #ahneunjin
