A new week in the studio, and new work slowly taking shape. ✨

Experimenting, layering, refining, and following the ideas wherever they lead. There’s something special about this stage — when a new piece is still becoming itself.

A little glimpse into what’s happening in the studio this week, here in Germany. 🎨

More soon. 🤍

Mr. and Mrs. Vargas. October 9th, 2026.

Ours is a story of redemption. A story of two broken people, each carrying a past, brought together by a God who makes all things new.

From the very beginning, all we ever wanted to do was honor the Lord. To do things His way, even when it wasn’t the easiest way.

Only by His grace, are we here today.

What a beautiful thing it is to look back and see the hand of God woven through every chapter of our story. Every prayer, every season of waiting, every moment of surrender leading us to the altar.

Our wedding was everything we prayed it would be. Beautiful, sacred, and reverent. More than a celebration of our love, it was a testimony to the faithfulness of God.

We are overwhelmed with gratitude. For the people who loved us, prayed for us, poured into us, and stood beside us. For every hand that helped make this day possible.

But above all, for our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. The author of redemption, the foundation of our marriage, and the reason we have a story worth telling.

To Him be all the glory.

Would you have taken a chance on this “before”? 🥹🏡 Swipe through before you decide!

About five years ago, I bought eight abandoned apartments in Minden, Louisiana, with a dream of giving them a second chance. Today, you can actually stay in the transformation. 💛

Meet our Laura Villa at The Villas at Spanish Court, a historic property dating back to 1931 that now welcomes guests for a cozy Louisiana getaway.

These before and after photos make the renovation look so simple. If only you could swipe through the actual work that quickly! 😂 Behind every finished space were countless decisions, some rookie mistakes, and a whole lot of determination.

But this is why I love historic preservation. We get to honor what came before us while making room for new memories. A place that once sat empty can become the setting for someone’s girls weekend, anniversary trip, or much needed small town escape.

If you love home renovation, vintage charm, and a stay with a story, Laura might just be your next getaway. ✨

This little corner of Minden was worth saving. I hope these photos remind you to look for the possibility in the places around you, too.

Comment BOOK and I’ll send you the link to The Bright Side of the Other Side to read more about this historic renovation, plus the link to book your stay and a discount code to use when you reserve! 💛
