Testosterone is one of the most important hormones in a woman’s body. In fact, women produce more testosterone than estrogen.

For too long, testosterone has been ignored and is many clinicians still refuse to prescribe it and many GPs aren’t even allowed to prescribe it meaning women have to be referred to gynaecologists which is quite ridiculous.

Testosterone is the most biologically active hormone in women yet too many clinicians think it is only function is to improve libido.

We have known for many decades that testosterone can improve energy, mood, joint pains, memory, stamina, sleep and brain fog. It has many beneficial effects on our brain, heart and bones as well as the ability to reduce inflammation throughout our bodies.

Women deserve better. The stories from women struggling are awful and the stories from women using testosterone are often incredible.

Better education about testosterone is essential for all clinicians. I encourage all of you to share our @newson_education programme with any clinician who doesn’t feel confident in prescribing testosterone - we have an entire module dedicated to testosterone.

Have you struggled to get testosterone? Tell me in the comments 👇

Section 9, Major Kusanagi is on site! I’m thrilled to share the first batch of photos from my Ghost in the Shell photoshoot with @josephchilin!

I made the full costume from scratch for @kodanshamanga - a huge honor!
Photos by @josephchilin

I chose the iconic white trench coat look because it looked like a solid sewing challenge! And I’m weak for a good coat design. Real leather outer, holo metallic lining from my @cosplayfabrics collection. The padded sections were not fun to make 😅. Process video coming soon.

The bodysuit and gloves were also made with my @cosplayfabrics, the navy superpreme and a geometric texture. The belt is leather with a fun triangle buckle!
And yes, I made the shoes by altering and painting a pair of sneakers.

My wig was styled by @malinda_chan using a @purplepluminc base wig

Brian had the P-90 prop gun for the past 20 years because we are big GitS fans and Shirow has featured that gun in his art! I will make some of Major’s weapons this winter.

We shot at a studio in Brooklyn that I’m not sure I can recommend because a lot of features were not in good condition… we made it work! After visiting Kodansha House NYC (free entry through October 18th in Hudson Yard!), @josephchilin met up with me again to take some photos at the Vessel! I love that photo so much!

Tons more Kusanagi content to come, hope you will enjoy!
