📍Tripiti beach.Between the mountains and the sea lies Tripiti Gorge — small in size, but impressive in character, before the rugged landscape of southern Crete opens up to the endless Libyan Sea.
Following the coastline east we discover Kartarti Beach, hidden inside a small gorge. Turquoise waters, dramatic cliffs and absolute tranquillity makes it feel like a secret corner of Crete.
The coastal hike continues through the wild and untouched landscape of the Asterousia mountains, with the sea constantly beside us.
And finally, we reach Salamia Beach — where the imposing Asterousia Mountains meet the crystal-clear waters.
