Vert Ramp to Table

The world's only vert ramp greenhouse and mushroom grow room to my table

This afternoon my coworker at the Dallas Arboretum & Botanical garden brought me mole that her mother sent for me as a thank you for gifting her habañeros, serranos, and jalapeños from my garden at home

@space_rack and I harvested these beautiful pearl oyster mushrooms today from the vert ramp so I had to make this family recipe my cousin in Nezahualcóyotl, Mexico recommended to make when she saw the work we are doing with @4dwn_org in our community

Years ago @broughtplentyartworks and I brought a little delicata squash from 4dwns compost to my garden and it has been my favorite to grow ever since..so I added that to this dish since I already had it on hand to replace the chayote squash I would normally add

In a beautiful way this meal reflects our community..like soil that takes years to developed aggregates, biodiversity, and healthy organisms..we too are developing and growing

In this way we reflect our good work and roots here in this place we all share
