Medicine is a journey. And honestly? It is A LOT. Physically, mentally, emotionally, socially and spiritually.

There were days I questioned myself, days I cried, days when sleep became a luxury and “I’ll read after this” became a very dangerous lie. But through the long nights, early mornings, tears, disappointments, countless exams and way too many “God, please just let me pass this one” prayers… I made it.

And I can finally say: I’m a doctor. 🥹🩺

First, to God — thank You for carrying me through every chapter, especially the ones I genuinely didn’t think I could survive. Your grace brought me here. 🤍

To my parents and siblings, thank you for every sacrifice, prayer and encouragement. To my friends, thank you for making medical school a little less… medical school. 😂❤️

And a special thank you to sleep, my most consistent coping mechanism. You never asked questions, you just showed up. Even when I had so many slides to read 10/10 would recommend 😂

And to myself — thank you for not giving up. For every tear, sleepless night, disappointment and every time I had to start again. I kept going, even when I was tired, discouraged and completely over it.

Because apparently, medical school wasn’t satisfied with giving me a degree. It also left me with PTSD especially when I hear a bell 😭or “Who clerked this patient?” — Lord, let Your will be done. 😂

This chapter took a lot from me, but it gave me strength, resilience, friendships, memories, growth and a title I prayed so many times to have.

Would I do it all over again? Hell nah. 😂😂
The journey was long. The plot was unnecessary sometimes. But the ending? Worth it. 🥂🩺✨
