My 2026 Reading 📚 Audiobook
93) Credence by Penelope Douglas
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5
I vividly remember staying up all night and finishing this book at dawn because it was that unputdownable (that was two years ago). It’s extremely well written and immersive story, and I’m super picky with spicy novels. I can count on my fingers the ones I have actually enjoyed reading without cringing to death and abandoning it. Credence, Birthday Girl, Corrupt and Misconduct by Penelope Douglas are among them!
The last quarter of the book, however, is so incredibly frustrating. Upon my first read it felt like the conclusion was coming out of nowhere, only to find this time that the stupid little breadcrumbs were always hanging in the background. Oh well! Onto the next thing!
