Yesterday at the City Boy Movement Headquarters was about something simple but important: listening.

I had the privilege of sitting with representatives of the Youth Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), the National Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, Ohanaeze Ndigbo FCT Charter led by Chief Andrew Okonkwo Ugwu, the Association of Nigerian Artisans and Technicians, and other groups representing different parts of our society.

Different faiths. Different ethnicities. Different professions. Different experiences. But ultimately, one country and many of the same hopes for its future.

What I took away from these conversations is that we will always achieve more when we listen to one another, find common ground and refuse to allow our differences to become divisions.

Nigeria’s diversity should never be our weakness; it is one of our greatest strengths.

I’m grateful to everyone who came through the City Boy office and spoke openly about their experiences, concerns and aspirations.

We may come from different places, but the Nigeria we are building belongs to all of us. 🇳🇬

One people. One future. One Nigeria.

Subject: Urgent Appeal for the Reconstruction of Okun Ajah/Okun Mopo Road We are writing to urgently draw the government’s attention to the deplorable condition of the Okun Ajah/Okun Mopo Road, which leads to Monastery Road. This route is a critical artery serving as the primary access point to several major beaches in Lagos. Rehabilitating this road is essential for unlocking the state’s tourism potential; visitors to Lagos will undoubtedly want to experience our coastline, and a smooth, safe road is fundamental to a positive experience. Beyond tourism, repairing this road will drive significant infrastructure development and economic growth within this rapidly expanding community. The condition of our roads shapes the impression of our state. We respectfully request the government’s immediate intervention to repair this road, thereby fostering tourism, enhancing our community, and creating a welcoming gateway to our beautiful beaches. Many Thanks 🙏
