🖐 What if one of the oldest stories of humanity were told on the walls of a cave in the Ardèche?

Hidden in the heart of the Ardèche for thousands of years, the Chauvet-Pont-d'Arc Cave holds an exceptional treasure: hundreds of drawings left by humanity's first artists.

On its walls, more than 1,000 depictions bear witness to a fascinating artistic mastery. Animals seem to run, clash or emerge from the rock, as if time had stood still.

🪨 But around 20,000 years ago, a rockfall sealed its entrance. The cave then vanished from the outside world... until its rediscovery in 1994, preserved in an exceptional state.

Today, the original site remains closed to the public to ensure its conservation. But a faithful replica allows visitors to discover the paintings, the drawings and the whole atmosphere, as close as possible to the original.

The Rhône Valley Vineyards are also a land of heritage, rich in exceptional sites that immerse us in thousands of years of history. 😍
