SE KUULUISA PORTOFINO! 🇮🇹🌊

Sun Princess -risteilyalus toi meidät Genovaan,
josta hyppäsimme junaan kohti
Santa Margherita Ligurea.
Perillä vaihdoimme junan veneeseen,
joka kuljetti meidät pitkin Ligurian rannikkoa
idylliseen Portofinoon.

Ja kyllä, kaunis oli kylä…
mutta niin oli myös turistien määrä! 😄
(ja hinnat💸)

Satama ja kujat vilisivät väkeä kuin muurahaispesä.

Pestopastat ja viinit nautittuamme ja
sataman vilinää hetken ihailtuamme päätimme
tehdä paluumatkasta vähän aktiivisemman.

Reippailimme reilut 5 kilometriä upeissa rannikko- maisemissa takaisin Santa Margherita Ligureen ja sieltä junalla kohti Genovaa.

THE FAMOUS PORTOFINO! 🇮🇹🌊

The Sun Princess cruise ship brought us to Genoa, where we hopped on a train to Santa Margherita Ligure.

Once there, we swapped the train for a boat that took us along the stunning Ligurian coastline to the idyllic village of Portofino.

And yes, the village was beautiful…
but so was the number of tourists! 😄
(and the prices! 💸)

The harbour and narrow little streets were buzzing with people, like an anthill.

After enjoying some delicious pesto pasta and wine, and taking in the lively atmosphere of the harbour for a while, we decided to make our journey back a little more active.

We walked just over 5 kilometres through breathtaking coastal scenery back to Santa Margherita Ligure, and from there took the train back to Genoa.
