The runway isn’t real. The wings are imagined. But the dream? That part has always been real ever since I was a teenager. 🪽🤍 Years later, that dream is still very much alive. I didn’t make the Victoria’s Secret casting this year, but who knows maybe next year 😉 🪽🤍✨ @victoriassecret . Congratulations to the legendary @adrianalima and @alessandraambrosio on 20 years with Victoria’s Secret! Not posting this to make anyone panic, but instead, remind you that the little things make up a wonderful month too. 🧡🍂 Even if your schedule is full and hectic, noticing the leaves changing, the sounds of crunchy leaves underfoot, the way steam dances on your mug of hot tea, the different bird songs from migratory flocks headed south, the smell of rain on fallen leaves, the breeze rustling the curtains around your windows…all of these simple joys can really add up! I, for one, have been focusing heavily on them because my schedule has been so hectic. 😅 But I’ve been reminding myself “taking 5 minutes to sit on the porch and just notice isn’t going to make a huge difference in whether or not I can get my to-do list finished today”. I hope October is treating you well, but I hope you treat it well too. 🍁🫶🏻🧡 #octobermood #octoberaesthetic #fallaesthetic #fallvibes #fallmood fall is my favorite, fall season, fall foliage, fall leaves, autumn colors, autumn leaves, pumpkin patch, cozy vibes, cozy living

Jeffrey Manchester, known as “Roofman,” spent six months secretly living inside a Toys “R” Us store in Charlotte, North Carolina, after escaping prison in 2004. The army veteran built a hidden room behind a wall, watched employees through baby monitors, rode bicycles through the empty aisles at night, raced remote control cars on the roof, and survived on stolen baby food and candy. He even altered employees’ work schedules using the store’s computer system to help keep his hiding place secret. While living inside the store, Manchester joined a local church and donated stolen toys to children, all while dating a woman under a fake identity and claiming he had a secret government job. When the holiday shopping season made his hiding place less secure, he created another secret living space in an abandoned store next door. His bizarre double life finally unravelled in January 2005 after he robbed the same Toys “R” Us where he had been hiding, allowing police to discover his secret lair and track him down. @oddlyhorrifying posts the creepiest photos on instagram daily
