Our Sweet Hazel
#A2263318 ❤️ Needs A Foster or Adopter
3.5 years old | Spayed female | 58 lbs
Hazel initially arrived to the West LA Shelter with her brother Onyx as an owner surrender on 3/29/2026. She was very underweight with all her ribs visibly showing. Initially shy but in a matter of weeks, Hazel blossomed into a dog playgroup (DPFL) helper/greeter and rockstar. She has been in a loving foster home with male dogs for the past 3 months but due to unforeseen circumstances, not at all Hazel’s fault, this loving girl needs a new place to call home.
Hazel needs a foster or ideally, a forever home ASAP.
She is very low maintenance and calm. She is well behaved and never destroys anything. She is well mannered on leash and walks on a loose leash. Hazel is nonreactive to other dogs on walks and easy to walk overall. She could work a little more on her confidence building as she seems unsure of herself and shy at times. Everyone who meets her falls in love with this dainty princess who displays her sweet and submissive side by rolling on her back for belly rubs. Hazel is not a barker at all but she can vocalize on occasion which is so unique.
- fully house trained
- fully crate trained, sleeps through the night in her crate
- good with calm dogs
- good with people
- unknown with cats
Please contact/DM us for more information about her or a meet and greet with Hazel. You will not regret it. All food and supplies will be covered. If you can’t foster, please share so Hazel can find a loving home. ❤️🙏
