😂🦷 Zahara vs. anesthesia was the MAIN EVENT. Baby girl was fighting that sleep like she had somewhere to be! 😭 One minute she was “I’M NOT TIRED,” and the next… leaning like she just left happy hour. 😂😂
But a little mommy PSA because I genuinely didn’t know this: breastfeeding, especially nursing to sleep or throughout the night, can contribute to cavities once those little teeth come in. Zahara has never been a candy/sweets kid and rarely drinks juice, so this caught me completely off guard. 🥴
If your baby nurses to sleep, clean those little teeth afterward and make brushing before bed a priority. I wish somebody had emphasized that to me!
Thankfully, her cavities are FIXED, her teeth are looking good, and Miss Ma’am woke up ready to get back to business like she didn’t just fight an entire medical team over a nap. 😭😂🦷💗

I’m learning the sand thing with Layla’s little front teeth 😢 I have cried so much at the dentist, feeling like a failure because I had no idea. She has strip crowns on the front 2 and are getting 2 more next week. Thank God I got a second opinion because down in Macon they’re wanted to put her to sleep and possibly pull them out. I found a dentist in Suwanee who was able to do SMART and other processes without putting her to sleep. 🙏🏽
