Sometimes, you don’t realise the impact of an experience until you look back.

Here’s one of our participants sharing their experience at our last retreat. 🥹❤️

Now imagine what HAVILAH 2027 could hold.

Are you coming?

My kitchen ingredients were working overtime… until I changed my shower routine! 😂🧼✨ COMMENT DOWN FOR THE LINK 🙏💯 Turmeric, lemon, DIY experiments… sound familiar? Uneven skin tone and dark spots had me trying one thing after another, until I discovered @gharsoaps Kojic Soap. 💛 With Kojic Acid and Niacinamide, this little bar became part of my everyday routine. In this reel, I’m sharing my 21-day journey—from those kitchen experiments to the before-and-after. Watch till the end! 👀✨ Because caring for my skin should feel like a little moment of self-love, every single day. 🤍 Who else has turned their kitchen into a skincare lab? Tell me I’m not alone! 😂👇 #gharsoaps #kojicsoap #skincarejourney #unevenskintone #bodycare

BioWare reportedly shut down because EA bosses chose to invest in the development of Star Wars: Battlefront 3 over Mass Effect 5. Link in bio for more.
A month ago Elissa Slotkin stood on a stage and bragged about her education. She had gone to Poland and Hungary, she said, and studied the forces that beat Viktor Orban, and she brought the lessons home. There is a playbook for these authoritarians, she said, and there is a playbook for getting out of it. She said it like the notes were a weapon. She said it weeks before the police surrounded a constitutional court in Warsaw. Then came Friday night. Riot police cordoned off the Constitutional Tribunal, the court that had stood in the prime minister’s way, and a judge the president never swore in suspended the court’s president and vice president. The court itself called it an illegal takeover and a coup d’état. The prime minister took credit for restoring the rule of law. The president flew home from Africa, walked through the crowds, climbed the barriers, and entered his own court. It reads like Slotkin’s playbook, in real time: the broad coalition, the corruption charge, the court neutralized, all of it dressed as saving democracy. The lessons she brought home from Poland arrived in Poland first. Nobody says she ordered the police to the court. Nobody has to. The question is whose side the playbook serves, and the answer was on the stage a month ago: the side that seizes the court and calls it law, the side that suspends the judges and calls it order, the side that treats a constitutional tribunal as an obstacle to be removed rather than a limit to be obeyed. Slotkin brought home lessons from Poland. Donald Tusk just demonstrated the lesson back, and the lesson is that the authoritarian playbook has two covers. One of them is hers. Michigan should read both before Tuesday.
This Halloween we’re making soup inside a pumpkin while dressed as a family of clowns. 🤡 Recipe A large pumpkin about 10inch in diameter and height 3 medium carrots 3 stalks of celery 2 cobs of corn 2 medium garlic cloves, minced 2 tbsp minced ginger 2 bone in skin on chicken thighs and 3 full chicken wings roasted at 400f for 30 minutes 4 cups chicken broth 1 bay leaf Salt and pepper to taste Brush the outside of the pumpkin with olive oil and bake for 2.5-3 hours at 400F. For a smoother blended soup, you can remove the chicken and corn from the soup and add in 1/4 cup of heavy cream, then using a spoon you can scrape some of the pumpkin flesh into the soup and blend with an immersion blender until smooth. If we ever make this again, I would roast the celery and carrots together with the chicken to soften them up more so they blend more smoothly at the end. I would also add in half an onion, small diced and a tablespoon of honey at the end to bring out the pumpkin flavor more.
