THIS IS NOT A HOUSE. IT'S A PLACE TO DISAPPEAR.
Somewhere in the Alentejo, someone decided that the best way to build a house was to almost hide it.
A curved roof covered in wild grass.
Walls in warm earth tones.
Floor-to-ceiling windows opening onto fields, trees and endless silence.
Nothing here competes with the landscape.
The house simply belongs to it.
This is not a house designed to impress from the outside.
It is a house designed to make you slow down.
To wake up with nothing but nature outside your window.
To spend long afternoons by the pool.
To have dinner as the light disappears behind the cork oaks.
Less about what you own.
More about where you disappear.
