⚖️ Epstein Estate Faces Further Legal Battles as Victims Sue Former Advisers
Victims of Jeffrey Epstein have filed a fresh lawsuit against two of his longtime advisers, attorney Darren Indyke and accountant Richard Kahn, accusing them of providing legal and financial support that enabled Epstein’s sexual abuse and trafficking operation.
The lawsuit, filed in August, alleges that both men played a significant role in facilitating Epstein’s activities. Indyke and Kahn have previously denied wrongdoing and said they had no knowledge of or involvement in Epstein’s sex-trafficking operation.
The new legal action could further delay the settlement of Epstein’s estate, which has already faced years of litigation. Additional lawsuits are also expected following changes to New York state law, while ongoing congressional investigations are generating further legal expenses for the estate.
A trust document made public by the U.S. Justice Department in January has also raised questions about how much, if anything, may ultimately remain for distribution after the various legal claims and expenses are settled. ⚖️
