Hey fall 🧸🎃🤎🕯️
I had barely touched my twenties when I became a mother, and in so many ways, @karanbhas.in and I grew up together. We studied together, giggled over the silliest things, played together, and rushed through those chaotic school mornings. Looking back, so much of my growing-up years were wrapped around him. Back then, he called me Aati . Today he calls me Ma. I remember telling him once, in one of those emotional moments, that I always wanted to be a mother who could walk with her head held high when it came to her son. I wanted to always be proud of the person he was. And I still remember his little voice saying, “I promise you Aati, I’ll always make you proud.” Karan, you have. In more ways than you will ever know, son. Today, as I watch you make your own place in the world, I see the same sensitive, caring boy who has grown into a man with beautiful values, empathy and such a thoughtful heart. And sometimes, I wonder how the years went by so quickly. Happy birthday, beta! No matter how old you grow or how far life takes you, you will always be that little boy who grew up with me. And I will always, always be the ma who walks with her head held high because of you. I love you more than words will ever be able to say. ♥️♥️ Birthday love | Proud mom | Birthday wishes | The Indian Woman | Growing Up Together #birthdayboy🎉 #mysonmypride #motherhood #growinguptogether❤️
After more than a decade shaping Moroccan hip-hop as one half of Shayfeen, Shobee stepped out on his own when the duo split in 2021, and the solo run has been deliberate rather than rushed. His 2023 debut album HOWLS marked his first real statement as a standalone artist. Since then he’s kept a measured pace, dropping singles like “Machi M3ana” and collaborations rather than flooding the market, treating every release as something worth waiting for he’s said there’s more on the way, with fans wondering whether the next drop is another album or something bigger, i guess we’ll find out soon enough. Welcome Shobee to Mass Appeal Africa #MassAppealAfrica #GlobalHomeforHipHop
This genuine photograph captures a notoriously awkward juxtaposition from 2003. After her MTV Video Music Awards performance, Beyoncé posed with the New York Post to proudly celebrate her small front-page feature. However, her joyful expression heavily clashes with the paper’s massive, tragic main headline regarding 9/11 emergency call transcripts. This jarring contrast between pop celebrity promotion and national tragedy turned a standard press shot into an infamous internet artifact.
