The situation is really not okay. Even providing one proper meal a day is becoming a struggle.

This morning, my brother came to me and asked, “What exactly is going on?”

I told him the truth. Things are very difficult right now. We don’t have any donations coming in at the moment, and providing for the children has become a real struggle.

We sat and talked for several hours. Eventually, he walked away.

A few minutes later, I walked toward the poultry barn. And there he was, alone, praying.

That moment broke me.

After everything we had talked about, he didn’t complain. He didn’t ask for anything. He simply went somewhere quiet and prayed.

I stood there watching him, and I was moved to tears.

Sometimes, when there is nothing left to hold onto, all we can do is pray. 🙏🏽
