There’s no single path to the marathon start line. Beyond pace, splits and PBs, the journey is filled with moments of triumph, setbacks, and above all, unwavering perseverance.

The On Running Academy brought together six female runners from across Germany with a shared goal: to train and run a marathon together. Throughout the 10-week training program, the finish line isn’t the only focus. There’s a deeply personal transformation that happens along the way.

From long runs to speed sessions and track workouts, each woman approaches the training block differently – following their own ambitions as they crossed the 26.2 finish line in Berlin and Munich.

Redefining fast on their own terms. ⚡️

A 34-year-old #Texas inmate is pleading with a judge for his release after allegedly being sexually assaulted by another inmate while three others held him down.

According to court documents, the attack happened inside the Jack Harwell Detention Center in McLennan County and was captured on surveillance video. Three inmates have since been charged with aggravated sexual assault and engaging in organized criminal activity, while a warrant has been issued for a fourth.

The victim’s attorney, Mona Keathley, claims the assault occurred after a female jailer falsely identified her client as a pedophile to other inmates. She also alleges that two other jailers witnessed the situation and ignored his screams and cries for help.

Keathley says her client is now experiencing severe emotional distress and remains in segregation without adequate access to medical care, hygiene products or phone calls to his family.

The man was awaiting sentencing on a drug charge for which prosecutors had already recommended probation. The district attorney’s office says it does not oppose his release with GPS ankle monitoring while he awaits sentencing.
