It’s one thing to share your struggles to your closest friends and family members, and it’s another thing to share it and be vulnerable with the entire world. But I’ve learned that the more I talk about it the less it has control over me.
I had the pleasure of being part of the campaign “Don’t Wait, Reach Out.” An initiative by the VA and the Ad Council designed to encourage veterans to seek support way before a crisis.
This campaign has brought me an opportunity to share my story and bring hope to my fellow veterans. Here I leave you with an article published this week in
@upworthy to bring awareness to this campaign. I hope this encourages someone to seek support as well. 🫡

“But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”
2 Corinthians 12:9-10
I am so blessed to have this man by my side. You have no idea how much he has helped me throughout this journey of healing. Te amo! 💕
