I’ve heard this woman on too many podcasts and talk shows saying that “Republicans do not take politics as seriously as we do.” You know who took Nazism seriously? Jews. Gay people. Gypsies. Communists. Liberals. Handicapped people. The fascists have a sense of humor about dehumanizing and brutalizing people. Irreducibly unfunny.

frankly, this feels like a very white feminist take. maybe they are experiencing pain upon having their beliefs challenged but i don’t really care bc i was them once. i grew up in an isolated bible-belt town in the deep south and literally wasn’t exposed to alternative views until i left for college. no, it wasn’t painful to change my views bc i never went into conversations assuming that i knew everything. i approached topics and people with openness and curiosity. it was actually very simple to evolve bc i started from a place of empathy and humility.

Highly disappointed that she's defending their "not taking it seriously" stance because that is not normal. None of this is normal. Then again she's bff's with closet zio Galloway so I don't think she speaks for all of us

She's still a disingenuous reporter portraying facts on Fox News. Therefore her stances don't go anywhere but on deaf ears as entertainment. Hard to believe someone saying such things all for naught but for a paycheck. She could be serious and leave Fox Entertainment News for something more progressive instead but there's no money in half truths now is there?
