Kick off Knox Small Press Fest (@knoxsmallpressfest) with the “100 & Under: Prints | Books | Zines” exhibition, opening on First Friday, October 2, from 5-9 PM!
Exploring the world of books and print, this exhibition is presented in conjunction with the Knox Small Press Fest, an annual community celebration of independent publishers, artists, and printmakers.
Featuring work by more than 20 local, regional, and Arrowmont-connected artists, this exhibition highlights the diversity and innovation found within contemporary print and handmade book culture. Embodying our mission of enriching lives through art and craft, our 100 & Under exhibitions are designed to invite more handmade work into people’s everyday lives.
Together, this collection reflects the wide range of printmaking, book arts, and paper-based techniques explored at Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts. Each piece offers a distinct perspective on the power of print and books as a medium for communication and creative exploration.
The Arrowmont Gallery will host two Knox Small Press Fest activities: “Perfectly Pocket Sized: Case Paper with Laced Tapes Book” with Heather F. Wetzel (@hfwetzel) and “Printed City Texture” with Bryan Wilkerson (@bryanwilkeerson). Find more information at museumofinfiniteoutcomes.com/small-press-fest
