It’s so nice to have a finished object as the weather turns cooler 🍁 but even sweeter when it’s handspun, soft, and gorgeous 😍 I did not have a pattern for this sweater but used my trusty Flax pattern by Tin Can Knits for the cast on and yoke numbers. The texture is a broken rib that has a wonderful waffle-ish bouncy texture. I added a folded neckline, 6 stitch raglan, and split hem.
The yarn is a 15.5 micron merino combed top I spun a couple weeks ago. I have half a mind to spin more and knit myself the same exact one 🤭 but I would definitely have to dye mine there is no way it would make it 3 hours and still white 🤷🏼♀️ The jury is still out as to whether it has enough positive ease but we will see how the yarn behaves after a few days wear. Worst case is it becomes mine (I wouldn’t mind that) and I knit another one in a larger size.
