Azreal thinks to himself as before him stands Marcus Garcica. A man who’s been long past.
It’s really complicated but Azreal and Marcus are the same person only raised differently. Azreal is a sort of reincarnation of Marcus for context.
Originally this was going to be a redraw of the sentry larp panel but I didn’t want to get on the computer and trace and draw
Before I put the pen ink all over the characters, Azreal’s face was shell shocked, he just saw someone die and he can’t tell if anything is okay. While Marcus was lifting his hair showing his face to be just like Azreal’s, his expression was that of pure joy, but as I inked it, the expressions changed. Azreal’s became a mix of so many emotions. Any one of them would work, what he’s feeling is up to the beholder.
There is a reason Azreal isn’t shaded the same way as Marcus.
Copies imitate the original but can never be as perfect and great as the original
